The campaign was launched with the signing of a resolution by Science Minister Theresia Bauer and the German Rectors' Conference. The core statement of the resolution is that harassment at universities will not be tolerated. Universities take responsibility and are committed to protecting all members and relatives.

Only recently, Science Minister Bauer appointed a lawyer of confidence to act as an independent, external advisor to those affected and to universities.
